LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) official who allegedly tortured a British citizen of Pakistani origin at Lahore Airport has been suspended.
The British citizen had applied to the FIA officials against torture by ASI Bilal posted at the immigration counter at Allama Iqbal International Airport.
Taking notice, Director FIA Sarfraz Vark suspended the FIA official and formed an inquiry team headed by the Deputy Director for investigation.
The British citizen has also applied to the British Embassy against the incident.
