Sahiwal: The assistance received under the Benazir Income Support Program in Sahiwal became a trial for the beneficiaries. Another shameful act of humiliating the poor deserving women benefiting from the Benazir Income Support Program has come to light.
The devices operated in different areas were suddenly switched off from their original location and shifted to schools and centers in Sahiwal, 30 km away. The children’s stipends received on Eid, which were being given near homes, were stopped a day before Eid and an order was issued to take them from Sahiwal, 30 km away. This is not only causing double travel but also hundreds of rupees are being spent on rent. In this way, the practice of humiliating people and giving aid has become very common in our society. Be it Ramadan package cheap bazaar or any kind of aid, the citizens are being given facilities everywhere by humiliating them. The deserving poor women have appealed to God to save them from this double burden and arrange to give them this aid money from Benazir Income Support Program centers which are near their homes and areas.
