In the emergency meeting of the G-7 countries, the leaders of the member countries have indicated to impose more sanctions on Iran while offering their full support to Israel in response to the attack by Iran.
After Iran attacked Israel, the leaders of the G-7 countries, the United States, Japan, Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, and Canada, condemned Iran and expressed solidarity with Israel.
The declaration issued after the meeting said that Iran’s attack on Israel created instability in the region. Stop Iran and its proxy attacks or be prepared for severe sanctions.
The statement further said that the work will continue for stability in the region and the end of tension. May impose additional sanctions on Iran, including its drone and missile programs.
The G-7 countries will also strengthen their cooperation to end the Gaza crisis, including an immediate and permanent ceasefire, the release of Israeli hostages, and the provision of humanitarian aid to Palestinians in need, the G7 statement said.
It should be remembered that there was also a meeting of the United Nations Security Council on Iran’s attack on Israel, which was postponed without reaching any conclusion. Iran was also condemned and Israel was supported in this meeting.
