Quetta: Mahmood Khan Achakzai, head of Pashtun Khawa Milli Awami Party and Tehreek Tahafuz Ayin Pakistan, has said that the Parliament should withdraw all the cases against Imran Khan and his associates through a resolution.
Addressing a meeting of the anti-government six-party alliance Tehreek-e-Tahafuz Ayin Pakistan in Pishin district of Balochistan on Saturday, Mehmood Khan Achakzai said that Imran Khan is the leader of the majority party in the parliament, all cases against him should be withdrawn.
Last Friday, Pakistan’s opposition parties formed an alliance called ‘Tehreek Tahafuz Ayin Pakistan’, headed by Mahmood Khan Achakzai, head of the Pashtun Khawa Milli Awami Party.
The alliance includes Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pashtun Khwaja Milli Awami Party, Sunni Etihad Council, Jamaat-e-Islami, Balochistan National Party and Majlis Wahdat al-Muslimeen.
Mehmood Khan Achakzai addressed the meeting and said that the people who are present around Shahbaz Sharif today were the same people who were also sitting with the British. Addressing the rally, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader and opposition leader in the National Assembly Umar Ayub Khan said “We have come out for Jihad, we will continue to take our rights through the movement.”
