London: Britain has changed its visa rules to limit the number of people entering the country.
British Prime Minister Rishi Shankar has said that in 2022, a record number of 745 thousand people traveled to Britain.
Minimum salary requirements on skilled and family visas have been increased to limit the number of people coming to the UK.
The annual salary limit for a skilled British visa has been increased from 26 thousand 200 to 38 thousand 700 pounds. The minimum salary limit for the family visa has also been increased from 18 thousand 600 to 29 thousand pounds.
The minimum wage will no longer apply to health and social care and teachers, while those working in the social care sector will no longer be able to bring dependents to the UK.
The implementation of the new visa policy decision started on April 11.
