Islamabad/Lahore: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Saudi Arabia on a commercial flight caused problems for ordinary passengers.
According to the Daily Dawn London and Dawn TV report, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane stopped at Jeddah Airport for 2 hours to return home. On returning home from Jeddah, the flight to Islamabad for the government delegation was diverted to Lahore. Despite the government delegation landing in Lahore, the plane remained at the airport for 2 hours.
According to the report, the passengers’ patience was answered when the plane was standing at the airport and they expressed their anger and resentment, the video of which went viral on social media.
Flight PK 842 from Jeddah to Islamabad was carrying 357 passengers.
