Makkah: A man allegedly tried to commit suicide by jumping from the top floor of Masjid al-Haram.
The person who jumped from the top floor of Masjid al-Haram was immediately taken to the hospital by the security personnel. The person was saved due to timely medical assistance.
The identity and nationality of the person who attempted suicide was not disclosed. The security force of Masjid al-Haram has started an investigation into the incident.
It should be remembered that in 2017, a Saudi man tried to set himself on fire right in front of the Kaaba, but the security forces intervened in time and saved him.
Similarly, in 2018 too, 3 such incidents of suicide took place. The first incident occurred in June when a French man committed suicide by jumping from the roof of the Grand Mosque. A week later, a Bangladeshi man committed suicide in the same manner, and then in August, an Arab man also ended his life in the same way.
