The Canadian government banned this app in February this year due to security concerns, while many European countries have also banned this app.
Australia has banned TikTok due to security concerns, and New Zealand’s parliament banned TikTok following security concerns.
Somalia banned the app in 2023 last year after terrorist groups used the app in terrorist activities, while Taiwan has also banned it.
India had banned TikTok completely in 2020 after a border clash with China and the reason for shutting down the app permanently was shown to be a threat to national security.
Now the US government is also planning to ban TikTok, after which it can be banned in many other countries as well.
