Gaza: Hamas ambushed and attacked Israeli soldiers, as a result of which 14 commandos were killed and many were injured.
Hamas claimed that Israeli soldiers had arrived in Khan Yunis for an operation in a tunnel where Hamas ambushed an Israeli tank.
According to Hamas, 14 Israeli soldiers were killed and many others were injured in this operation. The Israeli soldiers were forced to flee the area, a huge victory.
On the other hand, the Israeli army initially confirmed the injuries of 14 of its soldiers, but later admitted the death of 4 commandos while other soldiers are being treated in a critical condition.
According to the Israeli army, the four soldiers who died were part of the commando brigade. They have been identified as Captain Ido, Sergeant Amiti Evan Shushan, Sergeant Ref Haroush, and Sergeant Alai Zaire.
The spokesman of the Israeli army says that the four commandos who were killed were in their 20s and they went to the Hamas hideout for an operation.
