London/Tel Aviv: Thousands of people took to the streets of Israel to demand the change of the Netanyahu government and the release of prisoners.
Tens of thousands of people have marched to the parliament in Jerusalem against the government of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
The partners called for elections and pushed for a deal with Hamas that would see more than 130 prisoners held in the Gaza Strip repatriated.
It came a day after the largest protests in Tel Aviv since the start of the war. The Israeli opposition leader called for elections to oust Prime Minister Netanyahu, saying the elections would be necessary to bring in a new government in Israel. Organizing is the only way to end the country’s crippled system.
He said that the war with Hamas is paralyzed, the hostage deal is paralyzed, the North is paralyzed and above all the government led by you is paralyzed and failing.
