FRANKFURT: From April 1, it will be legal to carry up to 25 grams of dried cannabis for personal use in Germany, which is enough to make 80 cigarettes. However, this amount depends on the usage as well. Home cultivation will also be allowed with a limit of 50 grams of dry cannabis for an adult to grow three plants. However, the use of drugs within 100 meters of schools, kindergartens, playgrounds, and public sports facilities will remain prohibited. Smoking will also be prohibited in pedestrianized areas between 7 am and 8 pm. Adults under the age of 21 will be limited to 30 grams of cannabis per month, which contains 10% of the psychoactive substance tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Does not exceed a percentage. Meeting and consuming cannabis in clubs will not be allowed and membership will be limited to one club at a time. The only legal way to get cannabis would be to either grow it at home or get it through cannabis clubs, both of which are restricted to people who have lived in Germany for at least six months.
