Article 184(3) of the Constitution determines the original jurisdiction of the Supreme Court and enables the Supreme Court to exercise jurisdiction in matters of public importance with regard to the enforcement of the fundamental rights of the citizens of Pakistan. On March 27, 6 judges of the Islamabad High Court wrote a letter to the Supreme Judicial Council regarding the alleged interference and pressure of intelligence agencies in the work of judges.
