ISLAMABAD: Now in Pakistan, a Turkey visa can be obtained easily at home, and the great difficulty of Pakistani citizens has become easier.
Turkey has introduced a convenient e-visa service, making it easier for tourists and businessmen visiting the country to obtain visas without having to visit embassies or consulates.
This service is specially designed for two categories of people, one who holds regular passports and the other who already holds a passport from the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. Have a visa or residence permit.
Pakistani citizens have to follow these three simple conditions to get a Turkey visa at home.
Apply: In the first step, visit the official website dedicated to Turkey e-Visa applications (https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/) and start the application process by providing personal information and details.
After entering the required information, applicants pay the required fee through MasterCard, Visa, and UnionPay. Upon successful completion of the application and payment, applicants will receive a link to download their e-Visa. Additionally, the e-Visa link will be emailed to the applicant for their convenience. It is recommended that a copy of the e-visa be kept accessible.
Apart from these steps, applicants also need to know the following important details.
The Turkish authorities have stipulated that tourists coming to the country must have at least 50 dollars available for each day of their intended stay in Turkey, which must be shown in a bank statement.
The fee for Pakistani citizens to obtain a Turkish e-visa is fixed at $60. This fee gives travelers access to Turkey’s rich culture, history, and natural beauty.
Applicants must meet specific financial requirements in addition to the visa fee, which includes providing proof of a return ticket and confirmed hotel reservation.
