The government allowed the import of used vehicles up to 2000 km

Islamabad: The federal government has allowed the import of used vehicles up to 2000 km.
The Ministry of Commerce has issued a notification to amend the import policy order for the import of used vehicles, after which used vehicles up to 2000 kilometers will be allowed to be imported.
Earlier, used vehicles were allowed to be imported up to 500 km, sources said, with several importers contacting the commerce ministry from time to time requesting a one-time waiver of the excess mileage of a new vehicle.
It should be noted that the consignment of an imported vehicle driven more than 500 km is stopped at customs.
