Why not veto the resolution on Gaza? Israel cancels US visit

The US has vetoed 3 ceasefire resolutions in Gaza while maintaining friendship with Israel.
Dawn Political reporter
Washington: Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has criticized his long-time friend and ally, the United States, for not vetoing the Gaza ceasefire resolution in the United Nations Security Council.
According to the British news agency, the Israeli Prime Minister has said in his statement that the United States’ failure to veto the Gaza ceasefire resolution in the Security Council will harm the war for the release of hostages and the elimination of Hamas.
The statement added that Prime Minister Netanyahu has stopped the Israeli delegation from visiting the US in the context of this change in the American position on Gaza. The visit was to be made at the request of US President Joe Biden. The White House spokesman said that he did not participate in the voting on the immediate ceasefire resolution in Gaza because it did not condemn Hamas. In the Security Council yesterday, the resolution for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza during the month of Ramadan was approved with the support of 11 members, while the United States did not participate in the voting.
It should be remembered that America has vetoed 3 ceasefire resolutions in Gaza while maintaining a friendship with Israel, while the resolution presented by America was vetoed by China and Russia.
