Rawalpindi: Former Tehsildar Najaf Hameed was arrested in a corruption case.
The anti-bribery department arrested Najaf Hameed from Rawalpindi court. He was wanted by the Anti-Bribery Department in a case. Najaf Hameed had posted bail before his arrest. The case against Najaf Hameed was heard. When he reached the court with delay, the court rejected his request for pre-arrest bail. He will be produced in court tomorrow for physical remand. Najaf Hameed is the elder brother of former DGISI General Retired Faiz Hameed. Anti-corruption department Chakwal has registered a case against him under sections 420, 468, and 471 of fraud.
