France announces proposed law on ‘aid in dying’

France: French President Emmanuel Macron announced a new proposed law on “assistance in dying” that would allow terminally ill adults to use lethal drugs to end their lives. President Macron said that legislation in this regard will begin in May and the approval of this law will take several months. If President Macron’s administration succeeds in implementing this law, France I think this will be the first law of its kind
