Riyadh: The moon of Ramadan was sighted in Saudi Arabia and the first fast of Ramadan will be on Monday. According to Dawn TV, the moon of Ramadan was sighted in Saudi Arabia on Sunday and the first fast of Ramadan 1445 Hijri will be on March 11, 2024. It will happen on Monday. Earlier, the government of Saudi Arabia instructed the public to watch the moon and said that whoever sees the moon with or without a telescope, should report this to the nearest court. Along with Arabia, the first fast in the United Arab Emirates will be on Monday, and Taraweeh will also begin today. However, Oman has announced that the moon will not be visible in the country, and the first fast will be on Tuesday, March 12. Australia, Malaysia, Philippines, and Brunei have also announced to keep the first fast on March 12.
