Lahore Police arrested PTI’s Latif Khosa and Salman Akram Raja, 3 members of the Assembly, Barrister Tayyab Rashid Sindhu, Owais Umar Vark, and Sarfraz Ahmed Dogar, several leaders and workers and transferred them to an unknown location. According to Dawn TV, the police arrested the two leaders from Lahore. Before the protest, the police arrested Latif Khosa from Sadar Golchak. The police also arrested PTI leader Salman Akram Raja from Lahore. Similarly, 3 members of the Punjab Assembly, supported by the Tehreek-e-Insaf, were arrested along with their activists. The arrested members include Barrister Tayyab Rashid Sindhu, Owais Umar Vark, and Sarfraz Ahmed Dogar. They were on their way to participate in the scheduled protest in Lahore against rigging. The MPs along with the workers were arrested at Sigian Bridge and shifted to an unknown location. Police arrested eight Tehreek-e-Insaf workers at GPO Chowk, Lahore. According to Dawn TV, police sources said that Tehreek-e-Insaf ticket holders Zahid Hashmi and Qasim Hashmi were arrested, Javed, a senior politician from Multan. Hashmi’s son-in-law and grandson were arrested.
