London: Earl Spencer, the younger brother of British Princess Lady Diana, has revealed that he was sexually abused while at boarding school at a young age. The 59-year-old Earl Spencer revealed in his autobiography that he was sexually abused in the 1970s. During the 1990s, a woman was raped at a private school called Meadwell Hall. She claimed that she was only 11 years old when she was sexually abused. In her new book ‘A Very Private School’ Earl Spencer claims that a female staff member at the school (whom he described as a ‘pedophile’) sexually assaulted him and other boys while they were in their dormitory at night. Spencer said the female employee lived abroad or had died. Earl Spencer also claimed that former school headmaster John Porch sexually assaulted him, according to the BBC Jan Porch January 2022 I died. He said that he is still deeply traumatized by the incident, which caused many boys to drop out of school. On the other hand, a private school called Meadwell Hall responded to the allegations by Lady Diana’s brother. “The standards and practices of schools have changed a lot since the 1970s, now the safety of children is ensured,” he said.
