Lahore: The anti-terrorism court approved the bail of journalist Imran Riaz in the case of arson during the Zaman Park police operation. Judge Arshad Javed of the anti-terrorism court approved the bail.
It should be noted that on February 22, the Cyber Crime Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) summoned YouTuber Asad Tauri and journalist Imran Riaz while starting an investigation into allegations of hate campaign against the highest judiciary and judges. The next day, Imran Riaz was arrested from his house by officers in plain clothes on the night of February 22 and 23. On February 23, the District Court of Lahore rejected the request of journalist Imran Riaz for physical remand in the corruption case. Riaz was sent to jail on judicial remand.
