The Islamabad High Court has asked the parties to respond within a week to the contempt of court petition against the jail administration for not meeting the lawyers of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan despite the court order.
According to ‘Dawn TV’, Supreme Court Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan heard the request of lawyer Sher Afzal Marwat. Sher Afzal Marwat argued that there was a court order but still, he was not allowed to meet Imran Khan. If they go to jail, they are stopped. Last month on February 26, the Islamabad High Court allowed Imran Khan to meet his lawyers in private.
The court issued a notice to the parties and sought their response, the hearing of the case was adjourned till next week.
