95 million people in Pakistan are facing difficulties in meeting the basic needs of life, World Bank

London: The poor in Pakistan have become poorer. According to the current data of the World Bank, the poverty rate in Pakistan has increased from 34.2% to 39.3% in just one year. Thus, 95 million people in Pakistan are facing difficulties in meeting the basic needs of life.
Due to various problems in Pakistan, the rate of poverty is continuously increasing, no effective policy can be found to stabilize the economy, uncertainty, unrest and natural disasters in the country have caused the increase in the rate of poverty. Compared to other regions of Pakistan, Baluchistan province and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have seen the worst increase in poverty rate during the last year.
