London: The son of Indian film star Anushka Sharma and Maya Nazandin batsman Virat Kohli was born in London, since then rumors of his son’s ‘British citizenship’ have been circulating. Prominent immigration expert Khalid Baloch told Daily Dawn London, Nawa-i-Waqt London, and Dawn TV’s Director News Doctor Akhtar Gulfam that according to British laws, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s son cannot get British citizenship because he was born in London. A child born in the UK can only become a British citizen if one of its parents is a British citizen. Even though Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma own their own house in London, their son cannot become a British citizen. Anushka and Kohli’s son can get British citizenship only if his son has lived in the UK for at least 10 years, in which case his son will get British citizenship. Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma welcomed their son into the world on February 15 and on February 20, the couple announced the birth of their son through their social media post. The good news is that Wamika’s little brother was born on 15th February whom we have named ‘Ake’. Their son’s name means ‘Immortal’ and ‘Immortal’ and this name is Derived from the Sanskrit language, ‘Ake’ in Turkish means ‘moonlight’ or ‘shining moon’. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma tied the knot in 2017. The star couple welcomed their first daughter in January 2021, whom they named Wamika.
