Independent MLAs of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have decided to join the Sunni Unity Council instead of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM).
Sources claim that former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan has approved the inclusion of party-backed independent members in the Sunni Etihad Council.
Sources say that the name of the Sunni Ittehad Council was considered due to concerns over the joining of MWM by some members.
