Ottawa: Another new incident of Islamophobia has come to light in Canada, the Islamic Center of Cambridge was vandalized, and hateful drawings were made on the wall of the mosque. According to British media reports, the Waterloo Regional Police says that someone had painted hateful graffiti on a wall at the Islamic Center of Cambridge, which was reported to them around 4 pm on Monday and called to the Islamic Centre. According to police officials, the graffiti contained hateful symbols, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said. Trudeau strongly condemned the incident, and in this regard, he also posted on X. In the post, Justin Trudeau wrote that the vandalism of the Islamic Center of Cambridge and the rise of Islamophobia across the country is alarming, disgusting, and unacceptable. He said, I stand with the Muslim community against such hatred, we have to fight Islamophobia together. The Canadian Prime Minister also visited this mosque in the last Ramadan.
