Oslo/: Norwegian Foreign Minister Aspen Barth Ide has said that the situation in Gaza is less than hell on earth due to the Israeli bombing. In an interview with Arab TV in Oslo, the Norwegian Foreign Minister said that The UN Security Council has been paralyzed since the Israeli aggression on October 7. Norway’s foreign minister advocated that the Palestinian Authority should have full autonomy over its territories and that Israel should cease its illegal occupation. Norway’s foreign minister said that despite more than 3 months of aggression, Israel has not been able to achieve a single military target in Gaza. Norway expressed concern over the attacks on commercial ships crossing the Red Sea. The foreign minister said he was willing to act as an intermediary in unfreezing tax funds earmarked for the Palestinian Authority. It should be noted that Norway is part of the international effort to form a broad Palestinian coalition government in which Western nations aim to give the Palestinian Authority a key role.
