Multan: Senior politician and former leader of Muslim League-N, Javed Hashmi announced his withdrawal from the elections and announced his support for Tehreek-e-Insaf’s candidate.
Talking to the media in Multan, Javed Hashmi said that I am announcing to withdraw as a candidate from the general elections to be held on February 8 and join the fold of PTI with all my strength. He said that I the person who first will stand in line, will give him full political and moral support. Javed Hashmi announced that I am not boycotting the elections, but now I will ask for votes not for myself, but for PTI’s candidate. Javed Hashmi also said that now instead of asking for votes, I will raise my voice. Let it be clear. Makhdoom Javed Hashmi submitted his nomination papers as an independent candidate from Multan Constituency NA-149.
